Revolution Academy is dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential by offering a rigorous academic program, strong character education, and active parental involvement. To support this mission, the school prioritizes a positive, safe, and orderly environment, guided by a consistent code of conduct.
The Parent/Student Handbook provides an overview of the policies, philosophies, and expectations that guide life at Revolution Academy. It is designed to serve as a resource for all families and students.
In addition, the Student Code of Conduct outlines expectations for student behavior and defines consequences for actions that disrupt learning or compromise school safety.
Aligned with North Carolina law, the code is organized into five levels of violations, each with appropriate consequences that may be adjusted based on the circumstances. The goal is to deter misconduct, promote accountability, and reinforce the importance of learning from mistakes.

At Revolution Academy, athletics is about more than just winning—it’s about building champions in both sport and life. Our athletes strive for excellence on the field and in the classroom while upholding the highest standards of character, integrity, and sportsmanship. We expect all players, coaches, parents, and fans to treat opponents and officials with respect, win with humility, and lose with dignity. Our coaches lead by example, combining strong moral character with deep knowledge of their sport, and fostering an environment where students grow physically, mentally, socially, and ethically.
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA) is the federal law—and Article 9, Section 115C of the North Carolina General Statutes is the state law—governing the education of students with disabilities. Part B of IDEA covers children ages 3 through 21 with a range of disabilities, including autism, learning and speech/language disabilities, intellectual and developmental delays, hearing and vision impairments, and more.
This manual provides an overview of 13 key parental rights, known as procedural safeguards, guaranteed under IDEA. These rights help ensure that parents (and students 18 and older) are informed and involved in the special education process. Schools are required to provide this notice to help families understand their legal rights and responsibilities.
At Revolution Academy, we believe that a strong partnership between school and families is essential to student success. To foster this partnership, it is important that all interactions between adults and the school community reflect mutual respect, cooperation, and a shared commitment to providing a safe, supportive environment for our students.
We recognize that challenges and stressful situations may arise. Even in these moments, we are committed to maintaining a high standard of conduct that models the values we strive to instill in our students.
This Adult Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for all adults—parents, guardians, volunteers, and visitors—who enter our campus or participate in school events. Revolution Academy reserves the right to restrict campus access, including drop-off and pick-up privileges, for any adult whose behavior involves threats, violence, or actions that create an unsafe or hostile environment.

Revolution Academy opens its doors in August 2020 at a temporary location at The Church on 68. Amid the height of the pandemic, RA provided in-person learning five days a week for nearly 400 students.
In March 2021, Revolution Academy relocates to its new permanent facility in Summerfield.
Joins the Central Carolina Conference for Middle Schools in eight sports. Earns conference runner-up in Girls Track and Field.
Revolution Academy adds its first high school grade by adding 9th grade and expands to two campuses: the Upper and Lower Schools. The Upper School, located at Central Baptist Church, serves 8th and 9th grades, accommodates an additional 30 students in 8th grade. The Lower School also grows, welcoming 70 more students.
Adds high school sports this year. Earns conference championships in Boys MS Swimming and Combined MS Swimming. Also earns conference runner-up in Girls Cross Country, Boys Cross Country, and Boys Basketball.
