Revolution Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Summerfield, NC, serving students in grades K-9 (with plans to expand to K-12). Committed to a back-to-basics, modern traditional education, the school emphasizes academic rigor, character development, and student responsibility.
Since opening in 2020, Revolution Academy has more than doubled enrollment grown to become a cornerstone of the Guilford County community.
Revolution Academy (RA) opens its doors in August 2020 at a temporary location at The Church on 68. Amid the height of the pandemic, RA provided in-person learning five days a week for nearly 400 students.
In March 2021, Revolution Academy relocates to its new permanent facility in Summerfield.
Joins the Central Carolina Conference for Middle Schools in eight sports. Earns conference runner-up in Girls Track and Field.
Revolution Academy adds its first high school grade by adding 9th grade and expands to two campuses: the Upper and Lower Schools. The Upper School, located at Central Baptist Church, serves 8th and 9th grades, accommodates an additional 30 students in 8th grade. The Lower School also grows, welcoming 70 more students.
Adds high school sports this year. Earns conference championships in Boys MS Swimming and Combined MS Swimming. Also earns conference runner-up in Girls Cross Country, Boys Cross Country, and Boys Basketball.
